Sept. 5, 2011 - 19:09 By
The Creators Project, a global cultural and technology initiative by global media company VICE and Intel, will be held from Sept. 7 to 10 at Platoon Kunsthalle in Nonhyeon-dong, southern Seoul.

Launched in 2010, The Creators Project is an ongoing global initiative to support emerging and leading artists who push the boundaries of creative expression using cutting-edge technologies. Tens of thousands of guests have attended the events and its website has attracted 17 million visitors in just one year.

This year’s project was previously held in the U.S., Brazil and France, in the form of creative partnerships with cultural events like the Sao Paulo Biennial, Nuits Sonores in Lyon and La Gaite Lyrique in Paris.

In Seoul, the project will include a showcase of a music video collaboration between Drunken Tiger and Lumpens; live performances by top bands and DJs like BYUL and Risque Rhythm Machine; multimedia installation works by artists, including Mok Jinyo, Yang Min-ha and Kimchi+Chips; and screenings of Park Chan-wook and Park Chan-kyong’s short film “Paranmanjang,” Baik Hyun-jhin’s “Eternal Joke” and more.
