Artists set to surprise subway passengers

Aug. 30, 2011 - 18:36 By
Artists have issued an open call to creative people who want to join them for a second day of performance art on the Seoul subway system this Saturday.

The first Performance Art in Subway Cars on Aug. 20 involved the work of nine groups and individuals from six countries, including Morocco and Myanmar.

The idea is to perform on the subway itself as it moves from stop to stop.

This event is expected to be bigger, with at least 15 performances from artists from eight countries.

Artists will meet at 1 p.m. at Dongdaemun Station Line 1.

To get involved or find out more about the group, visit their Facebook group by searching “P.A.I.S.C. #2 Performance Art in the Subway Cars.”
