“It’s an honor to be granted tenure after two years of working here,” said Ilon. “I researched universities in Asia that will fit my academic field of education economics and my lifelong learning, and I chose Seoul National University which was willing to provide me with the best study environment.”

Ilon received her bachelor of anthropology from University of Hawaii in 1975 and master of educational psychology and economics from State University of New York and Florida State University, respectively.

She holds Ph.D. in international development education from Florida State University.
