Malaysia’s Tourism Board said the nation will hold one of the largest festivals in the country, Hari Raya Aidilfitri, from Aug. 30, celebrating the ending of the one-month fasting for Ramadan. Non Muslims can also join the festival which will run for two days. Hosted by the Chief Minister of Sabah and the State Cabinet Ministers, visitors will be able to dig in on a scrumptious feast at Hari Raya Aidilfitri Open House at the Likas Sports Complex from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.. A variety of traditional Malay cuisine will be served such as beef rendang (slow-cooked in coconut milk and spices) and ketupat (glutinous rice wrapped in woven palm leaves).
