Officials of the IAAF conducted inspections of the media facility and management operated by the Organizing Committee for the IAAF World Championships to be held in Daegu in August. 


Anna Legnani, Deputy Director of Communications for the IAAF, and Rafael Segui, its photo commissioner, arrived in Korea in April and conducted an inspection of overall preparations for media support from April 6-7. Their visit to Korea is the second of its kind following the one in May, last year.


The IAAF delegation inspected the overall media support preparations by touring the Media Tribune, Main Press Center, Photo Center, Mixed Zone and four Sub Media Centers along with the Media Village, lodging facilities and transportation systems. 


Their assessment will serve as feedback for the Organizing Committee as it goes about preparing the best reporting environment for the journalists expected to visit Daegu to cover the international athletics event.
