Expats put on ‘Joe Egg’ play at Roofers

March 15, 2011 - 18:27 By Paul Kerry
The Seoul Players will present Peter Nichols’ “A Day in the Death of Joe Egg” beginning this Friday.

Seoul Players describe the production, which will be at Roofers in Itaewon, as both hilarious and heartbreaking. It follows a young couple and the problems they encounter while caring for their severely disabled daughter.

Although it aims to entertain, the play ultimately poses the somber question: “Can death be a form of kindness, and who has the right to decide?”

The show runs until March 27 and tickets cost 15,000 won. To purchase, e-mail ticketing@seoulplayers.com or visit www.seoulplayers.com for more information.
