A group of fashion designers will hold a collaboration show with artists at the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Seoul on June 25.
The event, titled “Art Collaboration Fashion Show,” featuring fashion and performing arts, is an attempt to encompass different fields of art, the museum said. It will be held for one hour from 7 p.m.
The show is the monthly Day of Culture event for June. The culture ministry has designated such days starting in January this year to promote the cultural life of citizens. The June event is sponsored by Hyundai Motor Group.
Ironbound, a group of two fashion and two graphic designers, will present the performance, “Here/There,” about wanderers between art and everyday life. Fashion designer Jaesun Chung will present a performance with the message that female aggressiveness originates from purity and frailty. Fashion designer Shin Yong-gyun will present a fashion show mingled with studio photo shoots.
The museum (www.mmca.go.kr) is receiving online applications for 250 seats of the show. For details, you can call (02) 3701-9833.
