British universities are on a major recruitment drive in Korea. More than 60 universities and institutions in the United Kingdom are to exhibit at Korea’s biggest U.K. higher education recruitment fair scheduled for this weekend.
Institutions such the University of Warwick, King’s College London and University of Manchester will market themselves to Korean students at the two-day event to be held at the headquarters of Korea Exchange Bank in Euljiro, central Seoul from Oct. 12-13.
School representatives including faculty and admission officers will provide Korean students with information on entrance requirements and scholarships, according to the organizer.
Also, for the first time, some faculty members from the U.K.’s leading art and design schools, including Coventry University and Kingston University in London, will offer interview-based admissions, allowing Korean students to apply while still in their home countries.
In addition, the two-day event will hold various seminars about the U.K.’s working holiday visa and career consulting. For more information visit www.ukedufair.com.
