Itaewon Global Village Center is putting on a class for kids to teach them about growing their own greens.
Young would-be gardeners will roll up their sleeves to test their green thumbs on seedlings and seeds. They will plant them in small boxes which they can take home and look after as the plants grow.
The children will also be shown how to make salads and sandwiches, and these will be shared out at the end of the activity as a snack.
The class runs on July 22 from 10 a.m. to noon at Seoul Forest. There is a 10,000 won fee. To register, visit the Global Village Center.
