Herald Ecofarm has launched the nation’s first-ever juice detox line, Just Juice Cleanse, which offers customers six different flavors of all-natural juices. The Just Juice Cleanse store opened its doors Monday at the Shinsegae Star Super in Dogok-dong, Seoul.

Juice cleansing is quickly becoming a popular trend in detox dieting, where people consume only fruit and vegetable juices for a short period to shed some pounds and help rid the body of toxins.

The Just Juice cleansing range is a three-day liquid health regimen that was created as a rejuvenating detox program to promote a healthier lifestyle and replenish the body. New York-based raw cook chef Christine Cho and pastry Chef Kim Yong-hui teamed up together with Herald Ecofarm, a sister company of The Korea Herald, to create the country’s first brand of detox cleansing juices.

Unlike the popular lemon diet ― which consists of drinking six to eight glasses of a mixture of fresh water, lemon juice, cayenne pepper and maple syrup ― the newly unveiled cleanse line includes six tasty food substitute drinks: “Green Up,” a non-fruit, all-green-veggies breakfast drink; “Booster C,” an orange juice blend chock full of energizing vitamins; “Skinny Lemon,” a tangy lemon drink for lunch that is good for digestion; “Root Power,” a carrot and yam drink full of fiber; “Refresher,” a light and fresh cucumber and pear juice to cool down the body; and finally “Milky Way,” a smooth and milky nighttime almond milk drink to promote rest before calling it a night.

The cleansing line is a simple and short three-day program that involves consuming 500 ml bottles of the above six juices throughout the day. Although some may experience weight loss during the cleansing program, the line is not intended as a dietary supplement, but rather a method of healthy detoxification.

The price of the three-day juice plan is 360,000 won for 18 bottles. To mark the official launch of Just Juice Cleanse, a limited time discounted price of 288,000 won is being offered. For more information on Just Juice Cleanse, visit www.heraldecofarm.com.
