Bricktopia at Legoland

Discover the unexpectedly soothing experience of colorful Lego bricks passing by on an 80-meter conveyor belt, the longest in the country, at Legoland Korea Resort.

The theme park in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, invites children and adults alike to Bricktopia, offering a variety of baked goods and desserts.

Ice fishing in Anseong

Try fishing for smelt on the frozen Gwanghyewon Reservoir, one of the country’s largest manmade lakes in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province. It also hosts other outdoor amusements like sledding through Feb. 2.

Tickets are 10,000 won for adults and 5,000 for kids 13 and under.

Winter at Nature Park in Daegu

Come and see how animals spend winter at Nature Park, a zoo in Daegu open daily except Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m through March 2.

Nature Park is home to a wide range of animals, from lions and tigers to peacocks and parrots, with winter flowers like camellias on display in a separate exhibit.

Pyeongchang Trout Festival

Since 1998, the Pyeongchang Trout Festival has drawn visitors ready to brave freezing temperatures to catch trout beneath the ice.
