Tomorrow X Together will make a comeback in April, according to a local media report on Friday.
The band’s latest album was its third studio album “The Name Chapter: Freefall” that sold over 2.25 million copies in the first week when it came out in October last year and entered Billboard 200 at No. 3. The album stayed on the main albums chart for seven weeks in a row and reentered in the first week of January.
The members told fans last month at an awards ceremony that they had already begun recording a new album.
Meanwhile, the group will greet fans in Seoul at a fan concert on March 2-3 to celebrate its fifth debut anniversary.
BTS to celebrate 10th anniversary in Japan with limited vinyl

An exclusive vinyl album will be released on June 19 to mark the 10th anniversary of the debut of BTS in Japan, according to recording company Pony Canyon.
The analogue LP will include “For You” and the Japanese-language version of “Let Me Know.” The former is the titular track from its fourth single in Japan that was dropped in 2015 and was the first song from the band to top Oricon’s daily single ranking. It also was the first song from an international hip-hop musician to land atop its weekly single ranking.
The group debuted in Japan in 2014 with single “No More Dream” and its best-of album in Japan “BTS, The Best” from 2021 sold more than 1 million copies, a first in over 17 years for an international male artist since Queen.
TWS signs with Geffen Records, Virgin Music

TWS will tackle the US and Japan in earnest as agency Pledis Entertainment signed a partnership with Geffen Records and Virgin Music, the company said on Friday.
The rookie boy band debuted only last month but has already cinched deals with the affiliates of Universal Music Group and Universal Music Japan.
TWS came in first place on a television music chart show Thursday with “Plot Twist,” the focus track from the debut EP “Sparkling Blue.” The mini album sold over 268,000 copies in the first week, making it among the top 10 highest selling debut albums from a K-pop group. The EP also debuted atop Oricon’s daily album ranking.
Separately, Japan’s Fuji TV will air a documentary that captures the six members on the day of their debut showcase and the day before. The video, titled “TWS Document,” will be unveiled on March 8.
Astro’s Cha Eunwoo tops iTunes chart in 21 regions with solo EP

Cha Eunwoo of Astro debuted at the top of the iTunes Top Albums chart in 21 regions with his first solo album “Entity,” according to agency Fantagio on Friday.
The main track “Stay” was No. 1 on its Top Songs chart in seven regions and also made Hot 100 on Melon, the largest music chart in South Korea.
Cha Eunwoo participated in the writing of all six tracks on the album and will perform all of them on stage for the first time at his first solo fan concert which will be held in Seoul on Saturday.
In the meantime, he will star opposite Kim Nam-joo in the mystery thriller drama “Wonderful World” that starts airing on March 1.
