American pop-rock band Maroon 5 is visiting Korea in March and holding a concert at the country's first multipurpose arena.

According to Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, Maroon 5 will hold a two-day concert at Inspire Arena in Yeongjong-do, Incheon, on March 8 and 9. It will be the first performance by an overseas act at the venue.

Inspire Arena, the first multipurpose arena in South Korea operated by Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, opened in December last year. It is part of Inspire Entertainment Resort, an integrated resort with a casino. The arena can accommodate over 15,000 people. Starting with the Melon Music Awards at the end of last year, several K-pop artists including Taemin of SHINee, TVXQ and AKMU have held their concerts at the venue.

Maroon 5's visit to Korea comes about a year and four months after the group's concert held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in November 2022.

Tickets for the upcoming show will go on sale Thursday. Ticket prices range from 77,000 won 275,000 won.

Meanwhile, PJ Morton, the keyboardist of Maroon 5 and a sing-songwriter, will also hold a solo concert at the Musinsa Garage in Mapo-gu, Seoul, on March 15.
