Passengers get ready to depart to Fukuoka, Japan, from Gimhae International Airport near Busan on Tuesday, as the airport opened the route to the Japanese city for the first time since its pandemic closure two years ago. Gimhae became the first regional base gateway in South Korea, outside of Incheon International Airport, to resume passenger flight services to Japan.
