The upcoming mobility vision comprises three key pillars, Urban Air Mobility, Purpose Built Vehicle and Hub, according to the carmaker.
UAM will allow users to spend time more valuably by expanding transport channels to urban flight routes. PBV offers customized services to passengers during travel time.
Seeking to create synergies with these future services, the company will also build hubs, or mobility transit bases, throughout key urban areas so that different smart mobility functions may intersect and constitute a mobility ecosystem, officials said.
Details of the mobility vision will be presented at Hyundai Motor’s CES press event on Jan. 6 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, US.
