If you’ve ever wondered how Lisa of Black Pink was showered by money with a bill-shooting gun in the “DDU-DU DDU-DU” music video, check out Black Pink’s “Square Up” pop up house.

Located in the busy street of Hongdae area in Mapo-gu in Seoul, the house, renovated from the previous “Black Pink House,” is full of hands-on experiences related to the band’s recent “Square Up” EP.

The pink-and-black set features four different squares, and The Korea Herald took a look to give readers a sneak peak of what’s inside.

1. Becoming Jenny

Remember Jenny sitting atop of a bedazzled tank and throwing pop corns in the music video? At Square 1, you can see a miniature silver tank that operates with a controller. All you have to do is to drive the tank in the direction of four letters of “SQUARE” standing on the floor. While you struggle with the controller, staff in the room will capture the moments like paparazzi. They are also all good English speakers, so don’t worry about communication issues.

2. Shooting like Lisa

One of the most impressive scenes from the music video might be charismatic Lisa rapping on a wooden chair while churning out bills from a gun, and you can imitate that swag at Square 2. The highlight of this set is that every prop in the room, from the pink bills scattered on the floor to the gun to the chalkboard and the chair, have been moved from the real set of the music video. Which means, you can sit on the chair where Lisa was, and play with the gun that was used by the singer herself. Don’t be shy, muster up some courage and shoot like Lisa.

3. Singing light sticks

In this completely dark room, all you can see and hear are the countless pink light sticks -- that are often seen in Black Pink’s concerts -- and Black Pink’s new songs. The flashing sticks and the music will trick you into thinking that you are actually at Black Pink’s concert.

4. ‘Square Up’ and punch

Before you step out of the house, don’t miss out on some fun with a punching game, the last course of the house. If you score over 800, you will have one more chance to draw a ticket for a gift lottery. (Every visitor can draw one ticket from the lottery once you finish the tour) Don’t be disappointed even if you don’t, because more presents are waiting for you outside of the house.

5. Pink garden

Once you’re out of the house, a pink garden will greet you. In this beautiful area full of pink flowers and letters, you can take some decent selfies with your friend or tie your own message with the flowers.

The “Square Up” pop up house, which opened on June 16, runs until June 24 and operates from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Admission is free, but since there is a limit on the number of visitors allowed each hour, you need to take a number card and wait in line in case there are too many visitors. The cards are distributed on a first-come-first-served basis starting at 3 p.m. in weekdays and at 10 a.m. during the weekends. The exact address for the house is Mapo-gu Wausan-ro 19-gil 18.
