Korean E-commerce firm Coupang has become an exclusive carrier of pet products that feature French cartoon characters Gaspard and Lisa, the company said Thursday.
Gaspard and Lisa are globally renowned fictional characters from a series of picture books created by a French couple, story writer Anne Gutman and illustrator Georg Hallensleben. The characters are introduced through books and a television show.

Coupang will offer a 10 percent discount for all 13 Gaspard and Lisa pet products until Nov. 6 as part of the promotion, the company added.
The 13 pet products include pet clothing, harnesses and cushions that feature graphics of Gaspard and Lisa, the company also said.
The company’s key product is a bandana made of bio-polished 100 percent cotton material, which is as well highlighted with a graphic print of Gaspard. The pet bandana will be offered at 12,000 won ($10.7) after the 10 percent discount.
Coupang also offers Rising Star T-shirt that has Gaspard and Lisa printed on the back and a star-shaped button detail on the chest area. The T-shirt will be available at a price of 24,000 won after the discount, the company said.
“In the past, customers had to turn to overseas direct shopping to buy Gaspard and Lisa pet products. But customers can now shop authentic Gaspard and Lisa pet products here in Korea using Coupang‘s signature Rocket Delivery service,“ Coupang’s official said.
