This is LG Hausys’ second branch office in Southeast Asia following one in Jakarta, Indonesia. The company is set on entering new markets in Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia and Laos, among others, the officials said.
LG Hausys currently exports construction materials ranging from imitation marble to flooring materials and wall papers to Vietnam, whose market is forecast to grow by about 6 percent annually until 2020.
Future business opportunities are to include exports of windows, doors and interior films.
Marking its full entry into the market, LG Hausys has participated in Vietnam’s largest construction material exhibition Vietbuild that is held through Sunday, to promote its products that are built for durability in Southeast Asia’s hot and humid climate.
The company said they aim to double the current export revenue by 2020. (
