Sistar's Hyolyn set to drop new album

Hyolyn of girl group Sistar will release a new album at midnight, her management agency said Monday, marking the artist’s solo return after a three-year hiatus.

The mini album, titled “It's Me,” will be unveiled at 12 a.m. Tuesday, featuring six songs, including the title track “Paradise,” “Love Like This” and “One Step,” according to Starship Entertainment.

Well-known musicians, including American composer Melanie Joy Fontana and European composers Erik Lidbom and Andreas Oberg, took part in its production.

Hyolyn is the lead singer of Sistar and has gained wide recognition for her powerful vocals. She recently featured on the new album by American hip-hop group Far East Movement and collaborated with three-time Academy Award-winning producer and disco legend Giorgio Moroder.

The diva made her solo debut in November 2013 with her first album “Love & Hate,” with its title track “One Way Love” sweeping music charts at home and abroad. (Yonhap)
