The Korea Railroad Corporation said Monday it will install a power supply system and USB ports for mobile devices in all KTX bullet trains for the convenience of passengers.
The in-seat charging port will have a 220 volt power outlet and two USB ports which will allow passengers to charge their smartphones, tablets and laptops on the train.
The power supply system will be equipped with anti-electric shock and one-touch plug separation functions for the safety of users, the national railroad operator said.
KORAIL said it will start installing the ports between each window from next month and complete it by December.
