The staff turnover of 60 percent since 2010 is seen as an issue for the bus companies in Seoul, according to the report. The rate, a barometer for job satisfaction in a company, refers to the percentage of employees leaving the job and being replaced by new employees.
A lower-than-expected wage is to blame for the drivers’ increasing dissatisfaction, the report revealed. The average monthly salary for the drivers is about 2.2 million won.
