K-pop girl group Crayon Pop member Park Hye-kyeong -- better known by her stage name Soyul -- will be suspending all group activities for the foreseeable future.

“Soyul was recently diagnosed with an anxiety disorder,” the group’s management agency Chrome Entertainment announced on Tuesday. “As her conditions are worse than expected, she will not be participating in upcoming promotional activities for a while.”

The company added that she does not require hospitalization, and that Crayon Pop will continue as a four-member act.

With the debut track “Saturday Night” from its first album “Crayon Pop 1st Mini Album” in 2012, the original five members have gained popularity over the years with their unique outfits and choreography.

Soyul, the youngest member of the group, made her debut in 2010 in a brief stint as a member of K-pop duo Chic‘6 Muscats. The 25-year-old released her first solo single “Y-Shirt” with singer Yang Jung-mo last January.

The girl group returned to the spotlight last week after an 18-month hiatus with the release of its first full-length studio album “Evolution Pop Vol. 1” on Sept. 26. The album’s title track “Boom Boom Chit” and its accompanying choreography have so far received favorable reviews.
