[STOCK WATCH] Dayang off to weak start of week

[THE INVESTOR] On Sept. 12 Dayang (108380) declined 0.81%, from Sept. 9, to 12,200 won (US$ 10.95). It had declined 3.61% through the past month. Standard deviation, the risk index for stock price, was 1.3% over the same period of time over one month.

Compared with its close competitors within the same industry, KOSDAQ, since the monthly volatility of DAEYANG was the lowest, the earnings rate over one month was also relatively lower than that of its peer group's. Over the recent month, the return-on-risk, the return on investment with consideration about risk, was -2.7%. Though the volatility was the lowest among its peer group, the return-on-risk was low as stock price decline. However, the return-on-risk is much better than the industrial mean, -8.0, and thus the industrial comparison performance was positive.

As a shareholding sum by investor group for the past four weeks, foreigners have sold 6,246 shares with maintenance of a selling position and institutions have sold 103,158 shares with a selling trend. However, during the same period, individuals have bought 109,404 shares with an increasing position.
