LG Electronics unveiled OLED TVs systematically adjusted for the hospitality industry at a global expo, the company’s spokesperson said on July 4.
The organic light-emitting diode manufacturer recently displayed its hotel TV models, 55- and 65-inch class televisions at the 2016 Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition & Conference held in New Orleans. The razor sharp design combined with its high definition picture quality, supported fully by LG’s OLED technology is set to provide tech-savvy in-room guest experience.
Also, LG’s own Pro:Centric server encoded in the system allows hotel managers to digitally send messages and necessary information to all guest rooms conveniently. Regarding security matters, the Pro:idiom solution locks hotels’ private paid-for contents from leaking without consent.
In line with its in-room TV models, the company also presented 55-inch dual-view OLED signage to be utilized in other hotel areas such as the lobby, fitness centers, and conference rooms.
The spokesperson also revealed LG’s plans to establish its presence in the current B2B market through its line of OLED hotel TVs.
