Just Juice Cleanse, a line of premium cold-pressed detox juices from Herald Corp. affiliate Organica, is now available at CU convenience stores nationwide, Organica said Thursday.

The detox juices will be available at 9,800 CU convenience stores in three flavors exclusively made for the chain: Light Green, Strengthening Shine and Pretty Pine.

Each flavor retains the health benefits and nutrients of its ingredients thanks to Organica‘s unique high-pressure processing method while appealing to popular flavor preferences, Organica said.

Just Juice Cleanse Light Green is made with kale, lemon, pineapple and apple for maximum detoxing effects. Strengthening Shine combines orange, apple, carrot and ginger for a vitamin-packed power cleanse, while Pretty Pine brings together pineapple, citron, turmeric and apple for antioxidizing effects and clearing up the skin in a beauty cleanse.

Drinking the detox juices helps to cleanse the body of toxins accumulated through unhealthy junk foods, replacing them with vitamins and minerals from fresh vegetables and fruits, company officials said.

The entry of Organica’s Just Juice Cleanse into CU marks the expansion of the juice line’s distribution network to convenience stores. Just Juice is already available at major department stores including Hyundai Department Store, Shinsegae Department Store, Lotte Department Store and Galleria Department Store, as well as coffee shop chains Starbucks, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Artisee.

Organica’s original detox juices were designed to replace meals for daylong or three-day programs, giving the digestive system a break and allowing the juices to do a thorough cleanse. The Organica Just Juice Cleanse products sold at coffee chains and now at CU are smaller-dose juices perfect for those who wish to try out the products before going for a more rigorous cleanse.

“The partnership with CU will allow us to introduce our unheated, high-pressure processed cleanse juice, packed with natural flavor and nutrients, to more consumers,” Organica CEO Lee Young-jin said in a statement.

The detox juices are priced at 3,000 won ($2.50) for 190 milliliters.
