K-pop girl group EXID is making a comeback with its first full-length studio album on June 1, the group’s agency Banana Culture announced Wednesday.

“EXID has completed shooting promotional pictures and filming the music video,” local media reported Wednesday, quoting an agency insider.

The lead song of the upcoming album will present a completely different concept from the group’s past hit songs “Up & Down” and “Hot Pink,” added the source.

The five-member group debuted in February 2012, but it was only in 2014 that it rose to stardom with “Up & Down,” a single that reached No. 1 on the Gaon Singles Chart, four months after its initial release. The group’s latest digital single “Hot Pink” was released last November.

Meanwhile, the group signed a memorandum of understanding with Chinese agency Banana Project in Shanghai on Jan. 11 to expand overseas.
