KB Kookmin Card has launched its “Spot the Star Shop” event, in which card members are eligible to win various prizes when spending a set accumulated amount with a KB card at Star Shops or KB-affiliated stores through June 19, the company announced Wednesday.
The event will give away through a lottery five Hyundai Avante vehicles, 30 KB Kookmin Present Cards each worth 3 million won ($2,500) and 65 KB Kookmin Preset Cards each worth 500,000 won to customers who spend 100,000 won.
Furthermore, the first 1 million KB card users who pay a minimum of 20,000 won at Star Shops will receive 2,000 pointrees -- KB card’s cash reward points.
Currently around 190,000 Star Shops, including restaurants and various clothing stores, operate in Korea, and the location of stores can be found through the KB Wise Wallet mobile application and confirmed with the Star Shop sticker at the entrance of affiliate stores.
