Taeyeon of K-pop girl group Girls’ Generation will kick off her first solo concert tour in July.
She will begin the tour with performances at the Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul from July 9-10, and in Busan in August, according to local news reports.
In April, the singer had canceled her solo concert “Taeyeon, Butterfly Kiss” which had been scheduled to take place at the Olympic Park Stadium. In March, the singer’s agency SM Entertainment had announced the delay, saying, “We’ve postponed the concert until the second half of the year for better quality.”

The singer had originally planned to hold the concert only in Seoul.
Taeyeon debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in 2007. Since then, she has participated in its subgroups TTS and SM the Ballad. She has proved her potential to pursue a solo career with the release of TV drama sound tracks such as “If” for KBS2’s TV drama “Hong Gil Dong” (2014) and “Can You Hear Me” for MBC’s “Beethoven Virus” (2014). She also released her first solo EP “I” last October.
