The Australia and New Zealand Association of Korea will hold its annual charity ball this month, featuring a tribute group to international pop icon Kylie Minogue.

Also known as “Kylie’s favorite Kylie,” 100% KYLIE will perform in Seoul for the first time for the charity ball, with a spectacular stage show complete with classic Kylie hits and a whole lot of feathers and sparkles.

This year’s “focus charity” is the Mubeopjeongsa House of Youth in Yongin, also known as “Big Mama’s House.”

100% KYLIE

Mubeopjeongsa House of Youth is a long-standing, much loved cause for ANZA Korea. The ball will raise funds to support fundamental building renovation works in order for it to comply with government regulations.

The event will also raise money for other charities, including Anna’s House for the homeless, the Intree single mothers’ network and the Myongdo Center for the Disabled in Mokpo.

ANZA Korea says its balls have raised over 260 million won ($224,000) for Korean charities since 2011 through ticket sales, donations and corporate sponsorship, including its event partner, the Macquarie Group of Companies, Korea.

The money raised at last year’s event helped to fund winter outreach programs, emergency funds for single mothers, scholarships and equipment for supported employment projects, among other things.

The event will also feature live performances from local musicians, as well as a raffle and silent auction, with prizes including luxury leather goods, high-end beauty products and hotel stays.

The ball will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the Grand Hyatt Seoul Hotel. For more information and to book tickets, visit www.anzakorea.com.
