His new nine-track album “Chiljip Psy-da” dropped Tuesday along with music videos for the two lead tracks, breaking a hiatus of three years and five months since his sixth album “Psy 6-gap,” which contained worldwide hit “Gangnam Style.”
In the “Napal Baji” music video, the singer appears enthusiastically, donning various-colored and retro-styled bell-bottoms, showing off his own unique dance moves. The choreographies are expected among many to become the next popular dance, following the “horse dance” from his mega hit “Gangnam Style” in 2012.
Other celebrities took part in Psy’s music video as well, including 2NE1‘s CL, singer-songwriter Yoo Hee-yeol -- as an obstetrician -- and actress Ha Ji-son -- as an attractive teacher.
Other artists appearing on the album were JYJ’s Junsu, Zion. T, Teddy, Dynamic Duo‘s Gaeko.
Psy is scheduled to perform at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards on Wednesday, showcasing his new tracks for the first time.
