The state-run Korea Electric Power Corp., the nation’s largest utility company, said Tuesday it will host the Bitgaram International Exposition of Electric Technology from Oct. 12 to 14 at the Kimdaejung Convention Center in Gwangju.

.“The company designed the large-scale international event as part of its effort to transform Naju and its adjacent areas into a global hub of the energy industry,” the company said.
About 2,000 electric and power experts from 50 countries will join the upcoming international energy trade show. Visitors will be able to raise their understanding of the latest technologies in the power sector and their applications to other areas including smart home and office.
To market its power-related technological capability, KEPCO will showcase a synergy effect caused by the combination of KEPCO’s power grid and the Internet of Things, the company said.
