BMW Korea is presenting a number of its latest vehicles, armed with style, technology and performance, at the Seoul Motor Show, including its plug-in hybrid sports car i8, two high-end models from its MINI brand, a new coupe and a convertible from its popular 6-Series.
BMW i8
The i8, which debuted in Korea last month, combines style and technology with fuel efficiency, and will help visitors understand the new era of sustainable performance of future cars.
BMW’s fresh plug-in hybrid electric vehicle has the appearance and performance of a sports car and the fuel advantages of a compact car.
MINI John Cooper Works
The MINI Superleggera Vision, introduced for the first time in Korea during the motor show, is an open two-seater sports car combining Italian craftsmanship with British style.
The new John Cooper Works by MINI is also comparable to a sports car, equipped with a twin-powered turbo engine that allows the compact vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km in just 6.1 seconds.
In addition, BMW Korea unveils the new 650i Convertible and 650d xDrive Gran Coupe from its 6 Series at the motor show, both of which boast of luxurious design and high-tech turbo engines.
To lure young visitors, the German carmaker plans to hold singer Jay Park’s new album showcase at its MINI booth on April 12.
