Crazy Horse Paris, an internationally renowned performance house from France, will officially make its way to Seoul next month to perform its signature nude cabaret show in the country, organizers announced Monday.

Popularly known as “Le Crazy,” the French cabaret house recently gained final approval from the Korean authorities to stage its famous artistic nude show here for audiences over age 19, according to W&FUN.

Crazy Horse Paris, considered one of France’s hallmark cabaret houses alongside Moulin Rouge and Lido, is known for its show in which nude female dancers perform in a sea of stunning streams of lights, which reflect off the dancers’ bodies.

Crazy Horse Paris was founded in 1951 by the avant-garde artist Alain Bernardin, who developed the house’s signature performance under emerging neorealist and pop-art influences at the time.

The cabaret has since risen to international acclaim, with an array of artists from around the world taking part in the show’s production including Roberto Cavalli, Bob Sinclar, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce and French footwear designer Christian Louboutin, who became the cabaret’s first “guest creator” in 2012.

The upcoming Seoul performance, directed by the renowned French choreographer Philippe Decoufle, will present a modern reinterpretation of Crazy Horse Paris’ best shows to date.

The Crazy Horse Paris cabaret shows will take place in Seoul from April 21 to June 30 at the Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel’s Walkerhill Theater. For more information, visit www.crazyhorseparisinseoul.com.
