With an affordable price in the 30 million won ($27,000) range and new design, the gasoline-powered family sedan will compete against best-selling models in the category, including the BMW 3, Toyota Camry and Hyundai Sonata, FCA Korea president Pablo Rosso said at a launch event in Seoul.
To sharpen its edge over rivals, the new Chrysler sedan offers a nine-speed automatic transmission for the first time in the segment.
The world-class engine, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 with 295 horsepower, adds to an enjoyable, spirited driving experience with the new model, the company added.
