K-pop boy band 2PM’s upcoming Seoul concert will be aired live in Japan, a Japanese live broadcasting company announced Monday.
Live Viewing Japan said it would live stream the group’s two-day show, scheduled to be held from Oct. 3 in Seoul, at 69 theaters across 29 Japanese cities.
The decision comes as Japanese fans, who could not obtain a ticket to the sold-out concert, sent a flood of requests to the company for real-time streaming of the show.
Some 30,000 Japanese fans are expected to watch 2PM’s performance on big screens.
2PM unveiled its fourth studio album, titled “Go Crazy,” on Monday. The album comes more than a year since the release of the group’s previous full-length album, “Grown.”
