Shortly after returning to the limelight with the release of their latest EP “Good Luck” in June, the six members of BEAST are slated to drop another album in commemoration of the group’s upcoming anniversary, according to a press release from Cube Entertainment on Monday.
During the group’s “Beautiful Show” solo concert last month in Ilsan, Gyeonggi Province, the members hinted to their fans of a possible new album. BEAST’s agency has now officially confirmed that the popular K-pop idol group would indeed release a special anniversary album on Oct. 16, marking the act’s fifth anniversary since debuting with “Beast is the B2ST.”
“In celebration of the group’s fifth anniversary, we are hoping to give fans a gift that they won’t soon forget,” said the press release. “Despite the members’ busy schedules overseas, they have prepared a new album.”
BEAST’s previous EP “Good Luck” featured seven singles written and composed by various members of the group. The album also included the eponymous lead track that garnered the K-pop stars 11 music broadcast trophies for their No. 1 single.
