Son Ho-young, a member of the first-generation idol group g.o.d, is dating the K-pop singer Amy, Korean news outlets reported Monday.
Son and Amy have been in a relationship for four months now, according to showbiz insiders.
The news made headlines after a local news outlet revealed photos of the two, reportedly on dates, having dinner and riding bicycles together.

According to the reports, the two first met as colleagues under the same agency. After that they became good friends who often spent their free time together. Their relationship evolved into a romance last year as Amy consoled and supported Son to help him get through tough times.
The singer had a rough year in 2013 in the wake of his then-girlfriend’s suicide.
Son was investigated on suspicion of using Zolpidem without prescription since he attempted to kill himself by taking the sleeping pills in May 2013, only days after his girlfriend’s death.
Prosecutors decided on Friday to suspend the indictment of the singer for having “no circumstantial evidence” in connection with the use of the drug.
Son, 34, has recently returned to the K-pop scene with the re-formed g.o.d, bringing back nostalgia for the early 2000s, when the band’s popularity was at its peak.
Amy, nine years younger than Son, debuted in 2010, but only participated in a few drama soundtracks without attracting the media spotlight. She is reportedly working on her new album.
Son’s agency CJ E&M spurned the reports, saying that the two are merely close colleagues.
