유대균 검거 소식이 전해졌다.
유병언(73) 전 세모그룹 회장(청해진해운 회장)의 장남 대균(44)씨와 도피 조력자 박수경(34)씨가 검거됐다.
인천지검은 25일 오후 7시께 도피 중인 대균씨와 박씨를 경기도 모처에서 검거했다고 밝혔다.
인천지방경찰청 광역수사대 경찰관들이 이들을 검거한 것으로 전해졌다.
경찰은 이들을 인천지검으로 압송 중이다.
유대균 검거 소식을 접한 누리꾼들은 "유병언 검거, 드디어 잡혔군" "유병언 검거, 어떤 모습으로 검거됐을까?" "유대균 검거, 이제 심판만 남았군" 등의 반응을 보였다.
Fugitive Yoo's eldest son captured in Yongin
The police said that investigators arrested Yoo Dae-kyun, the eldest son of the runaway Yoo Byung-eun, at a residence in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, at around 7 p.m. on Friday.
In addition, Park Soo-kyung, who was staying with Yoo Dae-kyun, has also been captured. Park is a daughter of Shin Myung-hee, a female confidante of the 73-year-old Yoo Byung-eun.
Park had allegedly been accompanying Dae-kyun during his escape. Her mother Shin Myung-hee is known to be a key leader of the Salvation Sect, which was led by the Sewol owner.
Shin, 64, gave herself up to the prosecution on June 13 -- only one day after Yoo’s body was discovered at a farm in Suncheon, South Jeolla Province.
