Park Hae-jin, the hero of sensational drama series “My Love from the Star,” debuted as a designer under Chinese fashion brand “V-modern” on Thursday.

“V-modern” was launched by Park and Mark Jang, a fashion virtuoso in China.

The actor held his first ever fashion show at the JW Marriot Hotel in Beijing, China with 50 models all dazzling in Park’s line of clothes.

For Park’s debut show, more than a hundred news outlets came, highlighting the actor’s ambidextrousness as a model, actor and now, a designer.

Due to the overwhelming attention from both news agencies and fans the show also had an incident. When Kang-woo, a rising star from Park’s management agency, appeared on the red carpet, weight from the sudden rush of fans collapsed the stage where the carpet calling was taking place.

Moving on from the rather fervent pre-event of the show, Park staged a professional and smooth runway as a designer.

“I was trembling so much more backstage compared to the days when I was there (backstage) as a model,” Park said through his agency.

“As models started down the catwalk and the crowd went wild, I had this deeply moving experience.”

The actor turned designer is to return to the screen with cable channel OCN’s new drama series “Bad Guys” in October, playing the role of psychopath.
