In celebration of the 20th anniversary of its best-selling whiskey and in homage to the beauty of traditional Korean art, Pernod Ricard Korea launched a limited edition of Imperial 12 Years.

CEO Jeal-Manuel Spriet, alongside designer Kim Young-se, revealed on Monday the special version whiskey, whose bottle design was inspired by celadon porcelain and the “taeguk,” the central symbol on the South Korean flag.

“By reflecting high-class traditional art on the packaging, we intended to express the rare and classy value of fine whiskey,” officials said in a press release.

The showcase was held at Songeun Art Space, where the French liquor company is to hold a special exhibition named “THEN Meets Now” until June 21, displaying the fashion and lifestyle of 1994, the year when Imperial 12 Years was created.
