'내 얼굴 잘 생겼는지 테스트 하는 법' 중국 온라인 화제

중국의 웨이보 사이트에 간단한 손가락으로 얼굴이 멋지게 생겼는지 알아보는 방법이 소개되자 연예인들을 비롯 수천 명이 테스트를 하는 등 온라인상에서 크게 인기를 끌고 있다.

방법은 의외로 간단하다. 검지 (두번째) 손가락을 코와 턱에 밀착시키는데 (사진 참조) 이때 입술이 손가락에 닿으면 "용모가 준수" (적어도 중국인들 입장에서는) 하다는 것이다.

이 테스트는 특별한 과학적인 근거는 없고 다만 성형외과의사들이 사용하는 3:1 비율 이론 (가장 이상적이고 아름답게 보이는 코는 좌우가 대칭이며 코길이가 가운데 얼굴의 수직 길이1/3 ) 에서 차용한 것이라고 한다.

만일 입술이 손가락에 안닿아도 결과를 그냥 무시해도 좋을 듯 하다. 왜냐하면 안젤리나 졸리, 제시카 알바등도 통과하지 못했다고 외신들이 전했다.

'Finger trap test' tells whether you are good-looking

Do your lips touch your index finger when you extend it from your nose to your chin?

If so, congratulations -- you're defined as beautiful by China's standards.

The "finger trap test" has taken China by storm, where thousands of Weibo users, including celebrities, have posted photos of themselves carrying out the test on the popular social networking website.

According to a post on Vocativ.com, the method -- which is loosely based on the 3:1 ratio that cosmetic surgeons use, is currently trending in over 200,000 Weibo discussions, largely among women.

However, if you don't score too well on the test, don't be discouraged.

According to this method, Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba would also be considered as ugly, having failed the test. (Straits Times)
