The ‘Big Dipper’ course meal at The Plaza

The Plaza’s Japanese restaurant Murasaki is introducing the special “Big Dipper” course meal in celebration of the Lunar New Year. The meal is part of The Plaza’s “Gourmet Cruise” series which features ingredients selected by the chef under the theme of “premium,” “rare” and “taste.” The six-course lunch (150,000 won) features two types of gobachi, three kinds of raw fish, gratin made with wild rock oyster and soybean sauce, filefish pot, Korayaki, a roasted shell filled with red snow crabmeat and rice, miso soup, and seasonal fruits. The eight-course dinner (200,000 won) features two types of gobachi, steamed wild mussel garnished with vegetables, five kinds of raw fish, gratin with wild oyster and soybean sauce, red snow crab sashimi, filefish pot, five different types of sushi, miso soup, seasonal fruits, and traditional Japanese sweets. New Year specials at Park Hyatt Seoul

Park Hyatt Seoul is presenting special gift sets and gift certificates in celebration of the Lunar New Year. The gift sets include the “U.S. Prime Rib Eye” set (260,000 won), the “Lobster/King Prawn/Abalone” set (230,000 won), the “Cheese/Salami/Wine” set (200,000 won), the “Sparkling Wine” set (150,000 won), the “Premium Wine” set (159,000 won) and the “Sweets” set (93,000 won). All gift set prices are inclusive of tax. The hotel also offers gift certificates priced at 100,000 won, 300,000 won and 500,000 won, which can be used at any hotel facilities. Valentine Package at the Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel

The Sheraton Seoul D Cube City Hotel is presenting a special Valentine’s Day package from Feb. 13-16. The package includes a one-night stay in a guest room decorated with pink and silver balloons in celebration of Valentine’s Day. Also included in the room: a bottle of sparkling wine, a chocolate fondue with fresh fruits, muffins, a variety of macarons and chocolate-dipped jellies. Package guests will receive a special discount for the breakfast buffet at the hotel’s restaurant and complimentary access to the hotel’s gym and swimming pool. ‘Be My Valentine’ package at the Hyatt Regency Incheon

Hyatt Regency Incheon is offering the “Be My Valentine” package which will be available only on Feb. 14, Valentine’s Day. Included in the package: one-night stay in a guestroom, a four-course dinner in the Terrace Room above the outdoor flower garden and access to the Regency Club Lounge, where guests can enjoy unlimited sparkling wine and desserts during “happy hour.” Other parts of the package include a late check-out until 4 p.m. and a guestroom upgrade coupon for West Tower, which will open in July 2014. Guests who post a package review on Hyatt Regency Incheon’s Facebook page will receive a complimentary mini sparkling wine upon check-out. A free chocolate gift will be presented to guests who take a photo in front of the “Love Tree” at Restaurant 8 and upload the picture onto the restaurant’s Facebook page, tagging the hotel on their post.
