Korsoa, traditionally an automobile parts supplies and a winner of the $5 million export award, is tapping into new consumer markets.
The company has developed a waterless bubble-type shampoo line called “the Shampoo,” which is suitable for patients, pregnant women and elderly people who cannot move freely.
Users can shampoo their hair without using water, anytime and anywhere. The product uses natural ingredients approved by the Food and Drug Administration and does not use chemical solvents like alcohol, propane or butane, the company said.
“The Shampoo plus” is good for athletes and people who do outdoor activities or wear helmets for a long time. It restores hair that has been long exposed to ultraviolet light or damaged by heavy sweat or a lack of oxygen, the company said.
“We are planning to develop an industry that targets the elderly or ‘silver’ consumers. The silver industry may sound somewhat dark so we are planning to make bright products that users can use conveniently,” Korsoa CEO Chung Seok-hoon said.
