Mercure Seoul, located in the heart of Seoul’s Gangnam district, has been offering friendly and accommodating service at an affordable price for both local and international travelers since it opened in March 2012.
To meet the vision of the hotel CEO Woo Hee-myung that emphasizes “best value at a reasonable price,” Mercure Seoul Ambassador Gangnam SODOWE, has been targeting guests looking for affordable, yet satisfying service, especially in food and beverage.
The mid-sized hotel, which is part of the Accor Group hotel chain, has set the price for its lunch buffet at 25,300 won ($24) and the dinner buffet at 38,500 won, to appeal to local businessmen in the Gangnam area and international travelers.
The hotel is conveniently located at Yeoksam Station on Subway Line No. 2, offering easy access to the major business areas in southern Seoul. The Gangnam Finance Center and GS Tower are within 3 minutes’ walk of the hotel and the Coex Convention Center is also just a few minutes away.
Thanks to the location, the hotel has seen its average occupancy rate stay above 85 percent, with 90 percent of its guests being foreign travelers.
The hotel has 288 guestrooms, with a buffet restaurant, Cafe SODOWE, M Cafe in the lobby lounge, and a roof top bar, Kloud. The hotel offers exclusive space for business travelers at the Business Center, The Library and Executive Lounge for Executive Room guests and meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 120 people.
