Mercedes-Benz Korea is expected to introduce the sixth-generation New S-Class flagship sedan to Korea on Nov. 27, the carmaker said Sunday.
Dieter Zetsche, chairman of Daimler AG and head of Mercedes-Benz Cars, will visit for the first time to unveil the New S-Class.
Intelligent drive, essence of luxury and efficient technology are the three terms used to describe the new model that comes in a dynamic new silhouette and design, the company said.
New features including the Driving Assistance Package Plus were added to make for easier yet safer driving.
With Magic Body Control, multi-view stereo cameras scan the road conditions to automatically adjust the suspension, while the interior lighting system uses all LED lamps.
Six trims ― New S 350 BlueTEC, New 3 350 BlueTEC Long, New S500 Long, New S500 4MATIC Long and the New S 63 AMG 4MATIC Long ― and also a special New S500 Long Edition will be available in Korea.
Prices start at just above 129 million won ($121,000) with the New S350 BlueTEC model.
