The group debuted in 2003 and a year later released the hit single “Hug” that earned them popularity in Korea, jump-starting their entrance into the Japanese music industry.
“We started performing in smaller venues, and now we’ve really grown, performing in front of large audiences,” member MAX said at a press conference after their performance in Nissan Stadium. “It’s a new feeling.”
Meanwhile, TVXQ is due to continue activities in Japan with their next performance scheduled for large-venue music festival “a-nation” held in Osaka and Tokyo on Aug. 25 and 31.
