샤이니가 미국 빌보드 월드 앨범 차트 1위에 올랐다.
SM 엔터테인먼트는 지난 달 말 아이튠즈 및 국내 각종 온라인 음악사이트를 통해 전 세계에 공개된 샤이니 정규 3집 Chapter 2 ‘Why So Serious? – The misconceptions of me’가 미국 빌보드 월드 앨범 차트에서 1위를 차지했다고 3일 밝혔다.
또한 지난 29일 오프라인으로도 출시된 이번 앨범은 3일 한터차트 등 각종 음반판매량 집계 차트에서도 실시간 순위 1위를 차지하며 샤이니의 저력을 확인시켰다.
한편, 샤이니의 3집 타이틀곡 ‘Why So Serious?’는 세련된 음악과 독특한 퍼포먼스로 연일 뜨거운 화제를 모으며 국내외 팬들의 주목을 받고 있다. (코리아 헤럴드)
SHINee’s new album tops Billboard world chart
South Korean boy band SHINee ranked No.1 on Billboard’s world music chart.
SM Entertainment said on Friday that SHINee’s third full album "Chapter 2 Why So Serious? – The Misconceptions of Me,” released online on April 26, topped the World Albums chart on Billboard, reflecting its worldwide popularity.
The album also ranked first the same day in Hanteo Information System where overall sales of physical albums released in the country are recorded.
With its unique sound and zombie-like dance moves, the five-member boy band’s title track, “Why So Serious?” is appealing to fans at home and abroad.
