Psy’s global mega hit song “Gangnam Style” is now only one spot away from being the No. 1 song on the Billboard’s Top 100 chart.

After sitting at 64th place just two weeks ago and rocketing to the eleventh spot last week, “Gangnam Style” and Psy’s trademark horse-riding dance has now galloped to the No. 2 spot in the U.S. chart.

In order to take the top spot, Psy must surpass the Grammy Award-winning band Maroon 5’s “One More Night,” which is at its second week at the No. 1 spot.

“Gangnam Style” has already taken the top spot on Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs chart, but only time will tell if Psy can proclaim that he has the No.1 song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The rapper announced at a press conference held on Wednesday upon returning from the U.S. that he would dance topless in front a crowd if his hit reached the top of the chart.
