Asiana Airlines signed a memorandum of understanding with the nation’s leading online auction and commerce site G-market on adding a new flight mileage policy on Monday.
According to the expanded mileage policy starting from Aug. 13, G-market customers who enter the e-shopping site directly at www.gmarket.co.kr can accumulate mileage points that correspond to the amount of their purchase. The new mileage policy is compatible with other G-market offers such as “G Mileage” and “G Stamp.”
Before the MOU, customers of G-market could save Asiana mileage points only by visiting “Shop and Miles” section at Asiana Club webpage, which provided a link to the e-commerce site.
By entering G-market through Shop and Miles, customers can save one mileage point for every 1,000 won of purchase.
Those who post product reviews with their Asiana Club membership identification number can also earn mileage points, one point for every 2,000 won spent on purchases.
