Pak joined the hotel industry in 1999 at the Westin Resort in Guam. In 2003, he served as a director of operations at W Seoul Walkerhill Hotel and most recently served as general manager of Aqua Resort Club Saipan and Sheraton Laguna Guam Resort.
Pak graduated from University of California, Davis, with a degree in civil engineering.
“His extensive experience in hotel and tourism industry and knowledge of Korean and Western cultures will be a great asset and bring a new vibrancy to the property,” a hotel official said.
Opened in 1914, the Westin Chosun was one of the first Western-style hotels to open in Korea.
